This is it!After a lot of thinking and getting ready Play On The Word is up and running. Play On The Word is designed to encourage, refresh and equip Christian parents by giving you loads of play ideas.
I’m no expert – simply a mum of two boys trying to keep them amused and wanting more than anything for them to grow to love Jesus.
You can use this site however you like -
- Download the free play resources which give you tonnes of ideas of fun things to do with your kids that help you introduce them to their amazing God.
- Check out this blog – I’ll be sharing my experiences as I take care of my boys Mikey and Dan. Read the things we try, laugh at how often things seem to go wrong, check out some pictures and keep looking out for recommendations of books, music and other resources that might help you share Jesus with your children. Plus there will be guest posts as other families give their take on how Play On The Word works for them.
- Join the community! Come out of the woodwork and comment on posts, email me with your thoughts, pictures, suggestions, successes and disasters. I’d love it if this site could be a space where many of us can spur each other on in our roles as parents.
I hope this will be a place where parents come and are encouraged not intimidated and where we all grow in our excitement and confidence as we keep trying to tell our kids about Jesus.
